Wisconsin Public
Television will be broadcasting a number of shows related to
Buddhism:
Thursday, July 17, at
8:30
p.m. - "The Druk White Lotus School - Ladakh": Discover the
school being constructed to help preserve Buddhist tradition in
one of the most remote places on earth.
Thursday, July 24, at 7:30 p.m. (repeats on 7/25 at 9:30
p.m.) - "The Teacher's New Temple": Go inside the new
traditionally appointed Buddhist temple in Wisconsin's Dane
County, which will host the Dalai Lama this month.
The Dalai Lama's public talk from his recent appearance at the
Deer Park Monastery will air on the 'Wisconsin Channel on the
following dates and times. The Wisconsin Channel is a digital
sub-channel of Wisconsin Public Television… channel 709 on the
Time Warner cable line-up. The length of the broadcast appears
to be about two hours.

In June, 2007, Taiso Byran
Bartow, Reishin Denise Leong, and Moksha Maryanne Marx spent 12
days in China visiting sites of significance in Buddhist history
and tradition. The highlight of the trip was living and
practicing for three days at the Bai Lin monastery.
